The Property

This lakefront property offers you and your family the perfect place to relax and reconnect. Experience the joys of dining out on the deck with a fantastic view of the lake. Unwind and catch up on one of the three sitting areas cascading down towards the lakeshore, or spend your time playing on the dock and enjoying the lake. Surrounded by mature trees and with a water frontage of 240ft you will enjoy privacy from the neighbours and feel encircled by nature. The water is clean and deep, perfect for jumping in and cooling off. Kids getting bored of playing in the water? Check out the playhouse around back with a relaxing sundeck nearby.

The Cottage

This is a wonderful and comfortable cottage that perfectly blends high quality finishes with warmth and the natural character of Muskoka.

Enjoy cooking and eating in the spacious main room that features a fully stocked kitchen, butcher block island/breakfast bar and a large harvest table for everyone to gather around. Big waterside windows, a walk out to the front deck and the impressive stone fireplace round out the room and make it bight and cozy.

If you are looking for some downtime, then the tv room is for you! Cuddle up on the couch, surrounded by the lovely natural wood walls and escape to somewhere new as you read a book or watch tv.

The bedrooms will transport you to your own retreat. Each of the 3 main floor bedrooms are generous in size, possess waterfront views and calming natural wood wall . The kids’ room, boasting a double bunkbed, has enough room for any rainy-day activities or imaginative adventures. Upstairs, the master bedroom will be your oasis. The spacious room possesses incredible views of the lake, an office wing and a 4 piece ensuite bathroom.

2024 Policies

Muskoka Cottages by Marlene is committed to providing all our Guests and Cottage Owners a safe and responsible rental experience.  With the abundant uncertainties around the Covid-19 pandemic situation moving into 2024, we have adjusted our regular Payment and Cancellation Policies.  These 2024 updated policies provide a level of flexibility in both timeline commitments and payment obligations.

Payment Policy

50% deposit of a reservation is due within 14 days of a booking request being approved by the Manager, with the balance due 30 days prior to Arrival Date (vs. usual payment policy of 60 days prior).

Cancellation Policy

30 days prior to Arrival Date, the Manager will email Renter requesting confirmation of reservation.

  • A Renter wishing to cancel a reservation will have his/her deposit (less 5% booking fee) refunded.
  • A Renter wishing to firm up reservation will be sent a secure link to make his/her balance payment.

A Renter cancelling 1-29 days before Arrival Date will forfeit 100% of the Rental Fee and the 5% booking fee.  If the Property is able to be re-booked for the same rental period, 100% of the Rental and Cleaning and Linen Fees, less a $250 Administration Fee and the 5% booking fee, will be refunded to Renter.

An Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel a Rental Agreement at any time, at which point all payments will be refunded to Renter.

Should the Property not be available due to COVID-19 safety measures, or Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), all payments will be refunded to Renter.
