Cancellation Policy

Inquiries for rentals for July/August/September

Due to COVID-19, several provinces including Ontario currently prohibit short-term cottage rentals.  In Ontario, any rentals booked after April 4, 2020 can only be provided to individuals who are in need of housing during the emergency period. 

For this reason, we cannot process any new reservations until restrictions are lifted.  However, it is possible for you to hold a “tentative” reservation until such time when restrictions are lifted by governments, at which point we can convert your tentative hold into a firm reservation.

Revised Cancellation Policy due to COVID-19

30 days prior to Arrival Day, and given any further direction from public health authorities regarding COVID-19, the Manager will email Renter to request confirmation of reservation.
A Renter wishing a cancellation will have his/her deposit (less 4% booking fee) refunded.
A Renter wishing to firm up reservation will be invoiced the balance of the rental owing. 

An Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel a Rental Agreement at any time, at which point all payments will be refunded to Renter.
Should the Property not be available due to COVID-19 safety measures, or Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), all payments will be refunded to Renter.
