Bayside is located 2 hours north of Toronto, easily accessed by Highway 400.  It is close to Rocky Crest Golf, and close to casual and fine dining restaurants and lovely local shopping in nearby Port Carling.  Cruise the Big 3 lakes by boat!

The Property

Nestled on a gently sloped property with 120 feet of shoreline, Bayside boasts a boathouse with a family sized dock – sunny days spent on the dock never felt so good!  The shallow sandy area by the shore is perfect for young children, and deep-water swimming off the end of the dock is fantastic for the rest of the family.  Explore the bays and inlets by kayak/canoe/paddleboard and enjoy walking, running, cycling on the hilly cottage road.

The waterfront features beautiful natural landscaping with a gorgeous garden path and granite stone steps.  Relax on the wonderful deck that runs along the entire front of the cottage, offering stunning views of the bay.  Grill your dinner here on the barbecue and dine al fresco!

The Cottage

Bayside has recently been custom remodeled, resulting in an exceptionally lovely, stylish and stunning cottage!  Vaulted ceilings, glass walls and windows wall to wall give this cottage a fresh and natural elegance.

The crisp and spotless white kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counter and unique wooden island.  There are exquisite details at every turn:  a custom sideboard, beautiful harvest table.  The picture-perfect Muskoka Room – the most popular room in the cottage – features a screened in porch with a dining area and lovely sofa for luxurious relaxation.

The master bedroom features a luxurious King bed and looks out over the lake.  The second bedroom has a lake view as well and boasts a Queen bed and crib.  There is another Queen bed in the third bedroom and a set of twin beds on the fourth bedroom – perfect for kids!

The main bathroom features a beautiful large immaculate walk-in shower, and a 2pc powder room rounds out the floor plan.

$9,100 / week (equates to $1,300/ night) rental fee
$535 Maintenance, cleaning & linen fee*

2023 Policies

Muskoka Cottages by Marlene is committed to providing all our Guests and Cottage Owners a safe and responsible rental experience.  With the abundant uncertainties around the Covid-19 pandemic situation moving into 2023, we have adjusted our regular Payment and Cancellation Policies.  These 2023 updated policies provide a level of flexibility in both timeline commitments and payment obligations

Payment Policy

 50% deposit of a reservation is due within 14 days of a booking request being approved by the Manager, with the balance due 30 days prior to Arrival Date (vs. usual payment policy of 60 days prior).

 Cancellation Policy

 30 days prior to Arrival Date, the Manager will email Renter requesting confirmation of reservation.

• A Renter wishing to cancel a reservation will have his/her deposit (less 5% booking fee) refunded.
  
• A Renter wishing to firm up reservation will be sent a secure link to make his/her balance payment.

 A Renter cancelling 1-29 days before Arrival Date will forfeit 100% of the Rental Fee and the 5% booking fee.  If the Property is able to be re-booked for the same rental period, 100% of the Rental and Cleaning and Linen Fees, less a $250 Administration Fee and the 5% booking fee, will be refunded to Renter.

 An Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel a Rental Agreement at any time, at which point all payments will be refunded to Renter. 

 Should the Property not be available due to COVID-19 safety measures, or Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), all payments will be refunded to Renter.
