Lakeside, a brand-new front deck was just built offering a stunning view of the bay and a few steps down to the inviting stone patio – perfect for campfires under the stars! The path meanders further down to the lake, where you find the boathouse and sun-kissed dock: shallow water by the shore (perfect for the little ones), and deep-water swimming off the swim platform.
With 200 feet of picturesque lakefront, the property boasts sweeping views of Bala Bay. Explore the lake and bays by canoe or SUP, or just relax in the Muskoka chairs as you take in the magnificent panoramic view.

The smart island provides an excellent food prep station, and a great place for the kids to have a quick breakfast before heading out to play. There’s even a super convenient stacked washer/dryer for the times you need to throw in a quick load! The stone patio just outside the back kitchen door features a propane barbecue for grilling.
The dining area boasts a warm pine harvest table with seating for a family of 6. With an open concept, the kitchen and dining areas open up into the charming living room/family room which features the original stone fireplace. Cozy up on the sofa and over-stuffed chairs for family time with a movie and popcorn! Grab a DVD in town or hook up to Apple TV/Netflix with the available Wifi.

The master bedroom features a luxurious King bed and lake view, while the second bedroom with a Queen bed looks out to the woods. The third bedroom boasts a Single/Double bunk along with a TV/DVD player – perfect for the kids! A spotless 4pc bathroom, with shower and tub, rounds out the floorplan.

Muskoka Cottages by Marlene is committed to providing all our Guests and Cottage Owners a safe and responsible rental experience. With the abundant uncertainties around the Covid-19 pandemic situation moving into 2022, we have adjusted our regular Payment and Cancellation Policies. These 2022 updated policies provide a level of flexibility in both timeline commitments and payment obligations.
50% deposit of a reservation is due within 14 days of a booking request being approved by the Manager, with the balance due 30 days prior to Arrival Date (vs. usual payment policy of 60 days prior).
30 days prior to Arrival Date, the Manager will email Renter requesting confirmation of reservation.
A Renter cancelling 1-29 days before Arrival Date will forfeit 100% of the Rental Fee and the 5% booking fee. If the Property is able to be re-booked for the same rental period, 100% of the Rental and Cleaning and Linen Fees, less a $250 Administration Fee and the 5% booking fee, will be refunded to Renter.
An Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel a Rental Agreement at any time, at which point all payments will be refunded to Renter.
Should the Property not be available due to COVID-19 safety measures, or Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), all payments will be refunded to Renter.
