We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

   • Change/correct any data we have about you.

   • Have us delete any data we have about you.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Application and Agreement

Guests must submit completed RECREATIONAL PROPERTY APPLICATION AND AGREEMENT with booking request.

Payments

Payment can be made by cheque or email transfer. Rental prices may be subject to 13% HST.

DEPOSIT – 50% of rental amount is payable within seven (7) days following notice by the Manager to the Renter that Application has been accepted.  Security Deposit is also payable at this time.

BALANCE – 50% of rental amount is payable 45 days prior to the Arrival Date.

Security Deposit

A Security Deposit in the amount of approximately 50% of the cottage rental rate is payable at the same time and in the same manner as the Deposit.

The Security Deposit shall be held by the Manager for the observance and due performance by the Renter of the terms and conditions of Rental Agreement.

Save and except for deductions made in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, the Security Deposit shall be returned to the Renter within thirty (30) days following the Departure Date.

In the event the deductions to the Security Deposit hereunder exceed the amount of the Security Deposit, the Renter shall remit forthwith the balance of the deductions.

Cancellations by the Renter

To cancel a reservation, Guests must advise by email and receive a response confirming receipt of email before cancellation is deemed accepted.

Guests cancelling reservation 90 days before arrival date will have their deposit refunded, less a 20% administration fee.

Guests cancelling 46-90 days before arrival date will forfeit their entire 50% deposit.  Should a Guest fail to pay the balance due 45 days before arrival date, the reservation will be treated as cancelled and Guest will forfeit 50% deposit.

Guests cancelling 1-45 days before arrival date will forfeit 100% of the rental fee.  If the cottage is able to be re-booked for the same rental period, 70% of the original Guest rental fee will be refunded to original Guest.

Cancellations by Manager

Manager reserves the right to cancel a reservation, at which point all payments will be refunded to Guest.

Should the cottage not be available due to Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), all payments will be refunded to Guest.
